Warmer weather is coming so say hello to sunrays and goodbye to drab greys. It’s time to stretch your legs and spend some time at Sydney’s favourite waterfront – King Street Wharf.
Don’t be overwhelmed by the number of offers, here we show you how to make the most of every Happy Hour on the promenade. Are you ready?
Escape the office early and grab a $7 Peroni or Mythos beer in The Grove at George’s Mediterranean where Happy Hour starts at 3 pm. Watching the passing boats in the twinkling harbour you could almost be in Greece. Or perhaps hop across to Italy, at Casa Ristorante Italiano for a dessert cocktail?
Sips and nibbles
Happy Hour at King Street Wharf doesn’t just mean great drink deals, time it right and you can grab some seriously cheap eats too. There’s $15 bar plates and $5 beer or wine at Nick’s Bar & Grill between 3-6pm or $12 tapas and jugs of sangria (and other cocktails) for $18 from 4-7pm during the week.
Oh dear, what about the beer?
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to craft beer at King Street Wharf with $6 beers between 4-7pm at Beer DeLuxe “Crafternoons”. Over at the award-winning micro-brewery, All Hands Brewing House, clink to $8 pints.
For those who want to kick on past 7 pm, $12 cocktails are on the cards at Cargo from 7-9pm on Wednesday – Sunday in the upstairs bar. Keep on dancing your way through the week with Espresso Martinis for $10 at Beer Deluxe only on Thursday and Friday nights.
Remember to take photos as you zig-zag your way across the promenade and hashtag #aboutlastnight and #kingstreetwharf.
