Every October, the biggest event in wine takes place right here in Sydney. Thinkers & Drinkers is an annual wine-tasting event by Six Nations Wine, featuring the most sensational wines from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, USA, Chile and Canada, as judged by six expert judges in the Six Nations Wine Challenge, their yearly quest to find the world’s best. (And what a tough job that sounds like…)
A vibrant and fun event taking place at Manjits @ The Wharf this Thursday, October 12, Thinkers & Drinkers features roving canapés and 600 hand-selected “best of the variety” wines from all 16 classes. We’re talking sparkling wines, riesling, aromatic whites, chardonnay and white blends from a range of different growing regions across the New World; some serious pinot noirs that resemble the best France can offer; cabernet sauvignon and red blends that rival the best wines of Bordeaux; shiraz from cool climates and arid environments; and mouth-watering dessert wines to wow the senses and tingle the taste buds.
We’d recommend you leave the car at home and use public transport to this one, but if you prefer to drive in you can take advantage of nearby overnight parking at Allianz Centre Car Park via Secure Parking. So you can eat, drink, be merry – and pick the car up the next day.
